Terms and conditions

A. CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS


  • *Our rentals are computed in periods of 24-hours, starting from the time of delivery specified on the booking. Cargo vehicles available for half-day rentals.
  • *For rental periods over 28 days, check special conditions.
  • *In case of delay in the return of the vehicle or the abandonment of the same, the amount corresponding to the extended term will be charged according to the specific rate published in www.clickrent.es/rate, plus a surcharge of €40 per day until the company recovers the vehicle, as well the amount corresponding to any expenses or damages caused by the recovery.
  • *The early return of the vehicle will not entitle the client to any reimbursement.
  • *ClickRent reserves the right to cancel the reservation of the vehicle in the case of incidents with this or another rental company, or to the existence of doubts based on the financial capacity of the client due to a history of non-payment or incidents related to the means of payment provided.
  • *Vehicles may not be rented to any person under the age of 21 or who has held a driving licence for less than 2 years.
  • *The vehicle may not be taken out of Spanish national territory or taken on maritime transport.
  • *It is mandatory to show a valid credit card, whose holder must be included as the main driver or additional driver on the rental agreement.
  • *The price of the rental and any extra items agreed in the contract must be paid by credit card. Amex/American Express cards are not accepted.
  • *A valid driving license and a valid Identity Document are required to pick up the vehicle.
  • *The lessee who holds a driver license written in non-Latin characters must show an international valid driver license.
  • *All prices are shown in euros and include VAT.
  • *The models of cars shown in the booking process are merely indicative of the type of car. A model with similar or superior characteristics will be provided. Extra items included in the reservation will correspond to the Group provided if this should differ from the originally reserved Group.
  • *The vehicle categories offered for hire by ClickRent are organised in Groups, as follows:
    • Group 1: ECO, EC+, E+A, A, A+, AA, B, B+
    • Group 2: C, C+, D, D+, DD, E, F, F+
    • Group 3: G, G+, GG, H, H+, HH, I, J, J+, JJ, K, KK, L, M, M+, MM, Q, QQ, RR, S
    • Industrial Group: X, Y, Z

B. INSURANCE POLICY


  • *All rates include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance which covers damages to third parties up to 50 million euros and damages to the rental vehicle with the exceptions specified in the following section, with an excess of €1050 on damages for categories in Group 1, €1200 for Group 2 and €1700 for Group 3 and the Industrial Group.
  • *Ibiza beaches offices: €795 for Group 1, € 895 for Group 2 and €2000 for Group 3.
  • *Any category not specifically mentioned will be affected by the conditions of the group to which it belongs alphabetically.
  • *As a guarantee against possible damages, a security deposit (hereafter, pre-authorisation) is required, in the form of a hold on your credit card for the same amount as the excess insurance for the category provided.
  • *If the vehicle is replaced due to a breakdown or accident, the customer will be required to agree to a new pre-authorisation for the amount corresponding to the new vehicle provided.
  • *Damages to windows, wheels (tyres and rims), undercarriage, interior, keys, dashboard, antenna or damages caused by badly or unpaved roads and misfuelling are not included in the CDW insurance; Nor damages or loss of customers’ belongings or car (such as warning triangles, GPS, hi-vis vests, child seats, etc.). The basic CDW insurance includes roadside assistance only in the case of a vehicle breakdown which cannot be attributed to the customer.
  • *ClickRent offers the insurance products below at the time of agreement:
    1. Tyres, rims and windows. Removes these elements from the list of exclusions for the CDW insurance. €5 per day. Min. €15; Max. €75
    2. Excess coverage 0. the excess damage coverage and reduces the obligatory pre-authorisation to €200.
      Palma de Mallorca Airport:
      • €13 per day for Group 1 categories. Min. €39; max. 195
      • €15 per day for Group 2 categories. Min. €45; max. 225
      • €18 per day for Group 3 categories. Min. €54; max. 270
      Ibiza, Menorca and Alicante:
      • €14 per day for Group 1 categories. Min. €42; max. 210

      Valencia:

    3. Roadside assistance. This coverage includes 24-hour Telephone Service. Call +34 971 73 06 96. Guarantees roadside assistance within 6 hours for any reason (flat tyre, dead battery, wrong fuel, accident, breakdown, leaving the key inside, etc.). Roadside assistance is expressly excluded in case of negligence or unauthorised use of the vehicle. Single payment of €19.90 per contract
    4. Click Relax package. This package activates the three policies above, but only paying the price of ‘Tyres, rims and windows’ + ‘Excess coverage 0’.
  • In our offices on mainland Spain, excess coverage and a pre-authorisation of €1200 are established for categories A+, JJ, MM, Q, and €200 for vehicles in the Industrial Group (X, Y, Z), regardless of the contracted insurance policy. Some vehicles may be subject to a deposit of up to 3.000€ which is blocked on the card provided and reflected in the contract. Check vehicles in the office.
  • Personal damages to the customer are not covered by any insurance offered by ClickRent (Personal Accident Insurance), nor is vehicle theft protection (TP).
  • All coverage is subject to fulfilment of all conditions stated in the rental contract, in particular receiving a copy of the required accident report or a police report no later than 48 h after the event.
  • Damages caused by the customer that are not covered by the contracted insurance will be charged on the credit card provided, according to the table of prices of parts and hours of work published on www.clickrent.es/rate.
  • Any insurance policy taken out with another insurance company or intermediary will not result in any reduction to the obligatory excess insurance and policies with ClickRent. The customer is responsible for claiming any compensation for damages from the outside company.

  • *Non-office-hours surcharge: there is no extra charge for pick-ups and returns between 8 am and 8 pm throughout the year. Outside these times, the surcharges shown on www.clickrent.es/rate will be applied.

      • 8 pm to 12:59 am, and 6 am to 7:59 am: €30
      • 1 am to 5:59 am: €50
    • Late drop off:
      • 8 pm to 7:59 am: €30


D. MILEAGE AND OTHER CHARGES:


  • *Mileage policy:
    • Balearic Islands: unlimited.
    • Mainland Spain: rental includes 300 km per day at no extra cost, with a maximum of 1500 km per contract. Available for purchase package extender mileage, doubles the daily limit to 600 km, with a maximum of 3000 km per contract. Kilometres extended over the maximum permitted or contracted will be charged at the return of the vehicle. €0.20 per kilometre over the limit
  • *Surcharge for managing traffic fines: does not include the fine itself. €25 per fine
  • *Extremely dirty: when the poor condition of the vehicle requires extra vacuuming or washing, sand in the vehicle, stains on the upholstery, etc. €90
  • *Lost documents: for losing the vehicle data sheet, registration certificate or proof of insurance. €20
  • *Lost or broken GPS. €200
  • *Lost or broken safety equipment: hi-vis vests, warning triangles, etc. €90
  • *Lost or broken child seat. Group 0+ (€150), Group 1 (€100), Group 2 (€70), Group 3 (€50)
  • *Drop the vehicle off at the wrong place (€60) o abandonment of it (€120). Does not include any costs which may be incurred in the recovery process.
  • *Inappropriate or unauthorised use: careless driving, drivers not authorised by the contract, taking the vehicle on maritime transport or out of the country. €200
  • *Roadside assistance not covered: Transfer prices, depending on the distance in km between the vehicle and the rental office. www.clickrent.es/rate
  • *Damages not covered by the included or contracted policies. Check www.clickrent.es/rate
  • *All customers and/or additional drivers will be jointly liable for all the obligations of the rental contract.
  • *Any change to the prices in these T&C will be shown in the updated table on www.clickrent.es/rate.

D.2 OTHER CHARGES FOR IBIZA COAST OFFICES:


  • *Surcharge for managing traffic fines: does not include the fine itself. 42€ per fine
  • *Extremely dirty: when the poor condition of the vehicle requires extra vacuuming or washing, sand in the vehicle, stains on the upholstery, etc. Until €150

E. REFUELLING POLICY:


  • *Full-to-full policy: Vehicles are provided with a full tank at no extra cost, and must also be returned with a full tank. If the tank is short of fuel on return, the customer will be charged for the missing amount, plus a management and refuelling surcharge: €29
  • *Quick Return system: Vehicles are provided with a full tank, and the customer is charged for the fuel when signing the rental agreement, plus the management and refuelling surcharge. When the vehicle is returned, the fuel level is checked according to the fuel gauge in eight eighths, and the customer is reimbursed the amount corresponding to the unused fuel. The management and refuelling surcharge is not refundable.
  • *Any anomaly in the state of the vehicle’s fuel tank when it is picked up should be reported by the customer before leaving the premises. Claims made later will not be accepted.
  • *The prices ClickRent applies to each fuel category are published and updated on www.clickrent.es/rate. They do not include the refuelling surcharge.

    • *Operating hours. We accept reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For pick-ups between 1 am and 5:59 am we require a valid phone number where the customer can be reached as a condition for confirming the reservation.
    • *Free transfer service from the airport (shuttle bus) at the following times: 1 May - 31 October: 24 hours a day. 1 November - 30 April: 8 am to 8 pm. Outside these times, there is a surcharge for late pick up at the airport.
  • Ibiza:
    • *Operating hours. We accept reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For pick-ups between 1 am and 5:59 am we require a valid phone number where the customer can be reached as a condition for confirming the reservation.
    • *Free transfer service from and to the airport (shuttle bus) at the following times: 1 April - 31 October: 24 hours a day. 1 November - 31 March: 8 am to 8 pm. Outside these times, there is a surcharge for late pick up at the airport.
  • Menorca:
    • *Operating hours. We accept reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For pick-ups between 1 am and 5:59 am we require a valid phone number where the customer can be reached as a condition for confirming the reservation.
    • *Free transfer service from and to the airport (shuttle bus) 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Valencia and Alicante:
    • *Operating hours. We accept reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For pick-ups between 10 pm and 8 am we require a valid phone number where the customer can be reached as a condition for confirming the reservation.
    • *Free transfer service from and to the airport (shuttle bus) 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Calvià (Magaluf, Paguera):
    • *Operating period. We accept reservations from 1 March to 30 November.
    • *Office hours: from 8 am to 8 pm.
  • Ibiza Coast Offices:
    • San Antoni, Es Canar and Cala Llonga
      • *Operating period. We accept reservations from 1 March to 30 October.
      • *Office hours: from 8 am to 8 pm.
    • Can Bossa and Santa Eulàlia
      • *Operating period. We accept reservations from 1 April to 30 October.
      • *Office hours: from 8 am to 8 pm.
    • Es Figueral, Portinatx and San Miguel
      • *Operating period. We accept reservations from 15 April to 30 October.
      • *Office hours: from 8 am to 8 pm.
    • Cala Tarida and San Vicente
      • *Operating period. We accept reservations from 1 May to 30 October.
      • *Office hours: from 8 am to 8 pm.


G. PICK-UP AND RETURN


  • Mallorca:


    *Our vehicles are provided in our office next to the airport, in Polígono Son Oms, C/Camp Franc, 27, Palma. Our courtesy bus picks up customers outside the 2nd floor of the terminal at the time indicated in the reservation and takes them to our office, where the contract agreement is signed and the vehicle provided. If customers arrive earlier than the time shown on the reservation, they can request the transfer service by calling: +34 971 730 696. / The vehicle must be returned at the end of the rental period at the same office in Polígono Son Oms, as indicated in the contract. Our bus will take customers to the departures area of Palma Airport. For your own peace of mind and to allow time for any unforeseen delays, we recommend arriving at our office 3 hours before your flight is scheduled to leave. For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone. Reservations with arrival time beyond 11.00 pm and before 7 am a valid flight number is required. For bookings with a valid flight number the shuttle bus will wait up to 1 hour from the time of landing. For reservations without a flight number, the customer must request the transfer service on the telephone +34 971 730 696. The reservation will be cancelled after 1 hour from the time of the delivery scheduled in the reservation.
    *Airport service: You can book your vehicle pick-up and/or return at the airport: €25 per service. Our pick-up desk is on the 4th floor of the Palma Airport car park. The customer must pay the car park exit ticket, up to a maximum of €5. / Vehicles are returned at the airport on the 3rd floor of the car park, following the instructions of our staff. Delivery at the airport due to scheduling issues does not imply returning at the airport. Our transfer service is available 24 hours a day (May-Oct) and from 8 am to 8 pm (Nov-Apr), so customers whose flights are late or who will arrive at our offices after office hours must go to our pick-up point in the airport car park, where our representative will be waiting with the car. For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone.

  • Ibiza:


    *Our vehicles are provided in our office next to the airport, at Carretera del Aeropuerto km 5.8, Polígono industrial Can Frigoles, 07817 Sant Jordi, Ibiza. Our courtesy bus picks up customers at the meeting point (Punto de Encuentro) of Car Park P3, Ibiza Airport, at the time indicated in the reservation, and takes them to our office, where the contract agreement is signed and the vehicle provided. If customers arrive earlier than the time shown on the reservation, they can request the transfer service by calling: +34 971 730 696. / The vehicle must be returned at the end of the rental period at the same office at C/ Sant Jordi, 11, as indicated in the contract. Our bus will take customers to the departures area of Ibiza Airport. For your own peace of mind and to allow time for any unforeseen delays, we recommend arriving at our office 3 hours before your flight is scheduled to leave.
    For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone. Reservations with arrival time beyond 11.00 pm and before 7 am a valid flight number is required. For bookings with a valid flight number the shuttle bus will wait up to 1 hour from the time of landing. For reservations without a flight number, the customer must request the transfer service on the telephone +34 971 730 696.   • Menorca:


    *Our vehicles are provided at our office next to the airport, at C/ de s'Esperó, 23 - POIMA, Mahón. Our courtesy bus picks up customers at the meeting point (Punto de Encuentro) of the airport’s Public Car Park P1, at the time indicated in the reservation, and takes them to our office, where the contract agreement is formalised and the vehicle is provided. If customers arrive earlier than the time shown on the reservation, they can request the transfer service by calling: +34 971 730 696. / The vehicle must be returned at the end of the rental period at the same office, as indicated in the contract. Our bus will take customers to the departures area of Mahón Airport. For your own peace of mind and to allow time for any unforeseen delays, we recommend arriving at our office 3 hours before your flight is scheduled to leave. For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone. Reservations with arrival time beyond 11.00 pm and before 7 am a valid flight number is required. For bookings with a valid flight number the shuttle bus will wait up to 1 hour from the time of landing. For reservations without a flight number, the customer must request the transfer service on the telephone +34 971 730 696. The reservation will be cancelled after 1 hour from the time of the delivery scheduled in the reservation.

  • Valencia:


    *Customers whose reservations include a verifiable flight number must go to the departures area of Valencia Airport. A courtesy bus will be waiting at the passenger reception area at the time shown on the reservation to take them to our offices, a 2-minute drive from the terminal. If the flight number is wrong or not available, customers must go directly to the office, located on the other side of the airport highway, at C/Manuel Vilar, 8, Quart de Poblet. If customers arrive earlier than the time shown in the reservation, they can request the transfer service by calling: +34 971 730 696. / Vehicles must be returned to the same office at the previously agreed time. / Vehicle pick-ups or returns at the airport must be requested in advance to ClickRent staff, who will give you the relevant instructions. For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone. Reservations with arrival time beyond 11.00 pm and before 7 am a valid flight number is required. For bookings with a valid flight number the shuttle bus will wait up to 1 hour from the time of landing. For reservations without a flight number, the customer must request the transfer service on the telephone +34 971 730 696. The reservation will be cancelled after 1 hour from the time of the delivery scheduled in the reservation.

  • Alicante:


    *Customers whose reservations include a verifiable flight number must go to the departures area of Alicante Airport. A courtesy bus will be waiting at the passenger reception area at the time shown on the reservation to take them to our offices, a 2-minute drive from the terminal. If the flight number is wrong or not available, customers must go directly to the office, located on the other side of the airport highway, at CV 852 Road from Airport to Torrellano, 03320, Elche. If customers arrive earlier than the time shown in the reservation, they can request the transfer service by calling: +34 971 730 696. / Vehicles must be returned to the same office at the previously agreed time. / Vehicle pick-ups or returns at the airport must be requested in advance to ClickRent staff, who will give you the relevant instructions. For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone. Reservations with arrival time beyond 11.00 pm and before 7 am a valid flight number is required. For bookings with a valid flight number the shuttle bus will wait up to 1 hour from the time of landing. For reservations without a flight number, the customer must request the transfer service on the telephone +34 971 730 696. The reservation will be cancelled after 1 hour from the time of the delivery scheduled in the reservation.

  • Magaluf:


    *Our vehicles are provided at our office, at C/Blanc, 3, Magaluf (Calvià). Customers can go directly to our premises at the time shown in their reservation, to sign the contract agreement and receive their vehicle. If you need clarification about our location or office hours, please call +34 971 730 696. / The vehicle must be returned at the end of the rental period at the same office, as indicated in the contract. For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone. Reservations with arrival time beyond 11.00 pm and before 7 am a valid flight number is required. For bookings with a valid flight number the shuttle bus will wait up to 1 hour from the time of landing. For reservations without a flight number, the customer must request the transfer service on the telephone +34 971 730 696. The reservation will be cancelled after 1 hour from the time of the delivery scheduled in the reservation.
    *Airport pick-up service: Any contracted pick-up or return service will take place at the ClickRent desk, on the 4th floor of Palma Airport car park. €45 per service. The customer must pay the car park exit ticket, up to a maximum of €5.

  • Paguera:


    *Our vehicles are provided at our office, at Avenida Paguera 55, Paguera (Calvià). Customers can go directly to our premises at the time shown in their reservation, to sign the contract agreement and receive their vehicle. If you need clarification about our location or office hours, please call +34 971 730 696. / The vehicle must be returned at the end of the rental period at the same office, as indicated in the contract. For reservations set to arrive after 1 am and before 6 am, a valid phone number is essential, and you must have confirmed the reservation by phone. Reservations with arrival time beyond 11.00 pm and before 7 am a valid flight number is required. For bookings with a valid flight number the shuttle bus will wait up to 1 hour from the time of landing. For reservations without a flight number, the customer must request the transfer service on the telephone +34 971 730 696. The reservation will be cancelled after 1 hour from the time of the delivery scheduled in the reservation.
    *Airport pick-up service: Any contracted pick-up or return service will take place at the ClickRent desk, on the 4th floor of Palma Airport car park. €45 per service. The customer must pay the car park exit ticket, up to a maximum of €5.

  • Ibiza Coast Offices:


    *The pick-up address can be checked at the top of your voucher. You can check the pick-up address at the top of your voucher.
    *The vehicle must be returned once the rental period is finished at the same place specified in the rental agreement.


H. CANCELATIONS, DELAYS, NO-SHOW AND EXTENSIONS


  • *Cancellations sent by email to agencies@clickrent.es at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time will not incur any charges by ClickRent.
  • *Cancellations sent less than 24 hours in advance will incur a charge of 50% of the total reservation cost to be paid by the customer/agency, except for justified and documented causes.
  • *If the customer has not picked up the vehicle 3 hours from the time of delivery specified on the booking, ClickRent will declare the reservation to be a no-show and will release the reserved vehicle. Cancellations received less than 2 hours in advance are also considered a no-show.
  • *No-shows and cancellations in less than one hour in advance will incur a charge of 100% of the cost of the reservation to cover operating costs.
  • *Any extension of a current reservation will be subject to written confirmation of availability and price by ClickRent. It will also require the signing and payment of a new contract at the company’s office.
